  A bit half baked. Why does Ayo’s character come off so insecure?? Also a couple silly editing mistakes I caught that ruin the legitimacy of the story. 

  But the score was excellent and unexpected!!

  I don’t really get all the bad reviews… 

  This role must have been written with Pamela in mind. She is outstanding. I thought it all looked beautiful and as if you were in Shelly’s dream world. The final sequence was incredible.

  Is it short? Yes. Is it surface level? Yes—but women have objectively been seen and heard a lot of the time on only the outside appearance. It’s not a feel-good film, it’s heartbreaking. That’s very clear. It shows the cruel world, how society views women and how society views aging especially as women.

  Echoing other reviewers, the writing is just clunky and awkward. It improves towards the end but the choice of casting for Martha’s daughter took away from the legitimacy of the film??? 

  Bright spots were Julianne, Tilda, Irving from Severance, red lipstick and use of colour.
