(500) Days of Summer 2009
It’s amazing how much a rewatch at a later stage in life can change your perspective with this film. When I was younger, I thought Summer was in the wrong but rewatching makes me realise how entitled Tom was, love is complicated and messy and you simply can’t force someone to be with you if they don’t want to. Time to go listen to the Smiths I guess.
