  i love this fucking movie. plot-wise it could be seen as cliche, but to call the film as a whole cliche would be dismissing the incredibly universal and beautifully communicated themes here. it’s about longing to stand out from the crowd, and finding that in love before fame. it’s about being recognised and appreciated by a single person before many. it’s about chasing a dream and finding it in someone. 

  at it’s core, it’s about that desire to make your mark on the world; even if it’s only an imprint left on another - “i’m always gonna love you.”
