I loved the mafia in the 50s setting, beautiful cars and everything, but there is just so much talking, both narrating and dialogue, without anything interesting actually happening. Feels like a uninspired recap or workup of all the italo mafia movies.
Definitely my favorite experience at the Filmfest so far.
Having an icon like Viggo Mortensen introduce his film and then answering audience questions at a q&a afterwards was just the best. Viggo and also his co-star Solly McLeod were so kind and open. They stayed for over an hour after the film to answer the never ending questions.
So cool to hear that LoTR and Viggos portrayal of Aragorn ignited Sollys passion for movies and acting when he was young.…
More of a remake than a sequel. Worse in almost every way, so all it achieves is making you want to rewatch the original.
