Perhaps even more unforgivingly, though, it has absolutely nothing to say - it’s just a complete waste of time masquerading as a subversive drama. News flash: it isn’t.

  Nosferatu ably captures the dread and cinematographic brilliance of the (excellent) 1922 original. Its stylistic faithfulness to a 103-year-old movie, despite modernizing flourishes, was both unexpected and remarkable.

  A poignant reminder for men to use the appropriate brain in life-or-death situations.
