  It all feels so real. It is real, though it hovers in a surrealist universe similar and yet completely unlike the original two seasons. Obviously intentional, and it really does aid the movie, but a large part of me wishes that the show was like that too (though that would probably have killed any commercial aspirations for the project). Incredibly amazing film (also makes me want to rewatch Mulholland Drive).

  Morris Plains mentioned! but otherwise it was just okay. The biopic format for a figure such as Bob Dylan could have never been that great- too enigmatic and too hard to define in a 2 hour movie. I also found that the nitty gritty details that they got wrong didn’t bother me too much because obviously they needed to consolidate and wrap the film up. Surprisingly I found Bobs character the weakest, his motivation to escape from the folk music…
