  Loved. The meta casting of the OG parent trapper Hayley Mills & the other Shyamalan daughter is a stroke of parent trapping genius. Hartnett’s performance-within-a-performance is a renaissance. I vote Hartnett as the Bruce Willis for this era of M Night. Trap would be an amazing first installment of a M Night Hitchcock universe. 

  Kid Cudi has the best cameo of I’ve seen in any movie in 2024. “I said Honeysuckle sour kombucha, bitch!”

  If you were living in Eastern Pennsylvania in the past 20 years and happened to watch Mystic River or The Killing, you’ve already seen Mare of Easttown. If you saw either of them while drinking a Rolling Rock to wash down a Wawa hoagie, you’ve seen Mare of Easttown. Even if you had that hoagie and rolling rock in 2017 - years after you saw Mystic River & The Killing - the moment you crumpled up the wrapper and tossed it into that gas station trash can, you saw Mare of Easttown.
