  Waste of an insane cast on a dipshit misreading of an actual anti-capitalist movement. Instead of focusing on the radical politics and actions of the characters and the structural fascism in society that existed then and now, Sorkin resorts to “check out how smart the lawyers are!” This should be a harrowing cautionary tale. A warning that the brutalist police state we live in now has been perpetuated and hardened, despite the sacrifices of actual leftists like Fred Hampton, Tom Hayden, Abbie Hoffman, etc. Instead we get “respectability from both sides perseveres!” STFU.

  Basically hagiography that I’m enjoying for the most part. I wish there was more than 5 minutes of dissenting opinion on MJ, who is clearly insane (which is cool). The “you have to be an asshole to win” trope is one that is easily disproven by any self-respecting basketball fan. The examples are endless and obvious, and yet that trope is kind of the backbone of this whole series. We briefly get a glimpse at the end of ep 7…
