Mulan 2020
This was underwhelming. The story And thoughts were fragmented. The score was great though. They brought back some of the original dialogue and musical themes which added something great to the story. The visuals were beautiful as well, mostly due to the beautiful landscapes and locations. But the character development wasn't really there and for how hyped it was, it was mediocre.

I read the book as a kid, and I think the book was a lot creepier in nature. This was a fun movie, but I'm a kid at heart. Jack Black does well in this role and Cate Blanchette is great as well. The kid is a little boring, but that happens.

The fight sequences were great and Charlize Theron always shines in her roles. You think the movie will end a certain way and then it does a last twist at the end to keep you on your toes. I really liked it, but I wasn't blown away.

This film had HORRIBLE action sequences and the CGI was terrible. The acting wasn't bad, but that's about it. I would totally skip this one. For 2017, this was a really bad movie.
