  Gorgeous film that had me so immersed in the world it built that I felt dazed leaving the cinema.

  The portrayal of deep, persevering love was heartbreaking, and the characters' interactions felt so genuine.

  Loved how they used old versions of Facebook and Skype in the "12 years ago" scenes, it made them feel even more real and nostalgic.

  Past Lives gave me so much to think about, I've never thought about how I'd left behind a version of myself…

  I don't have a good relationship with my parents, so this movie really hit home for me. From the tender moments between the father and daughter to all the disappointments, it was so real, it felt like I was watching actual events unfold. The acting and cinematography were wonderful, I feel like I need to watch this a second time, probably alone so I can cry a lot.
