A double-long version of the tv show...one of the less interesting cases. Major character development: Mulder has a beard! Mulder shaves his beard!
First time I saw this I was totally distracted that Scully, a supposedly intelligent doctor with serious scholarship credentials, went to Google to find information on stem cell therapy. Then Skinner tries to Google an address later. Poor.

Adaptation is a tricky business. Adaptation of a non-fiction book is even more-so, especially when the main actors are significantly older than the characters in the book. This film's approach represents one choice in how to navigate that tricky business.
