  The whole world seems to absolutely love this film, so I must be missing something, because I thought it was awful. It looked very interesting but for me it just didn't work. And even thought I feel it should've been shorter, the runtime isn't my main issue (I don't care how long a film is). There are 2 big things (there is more) that made this film not work for me.

  Sorry, but this was bad. How can such a big film have such an awful script. It just baffles me.
  Dialogue is laughably bad and generic. Nothing gets explained. Characters are paper thin and get no development.
  Almost all of the characters aren't interesting and the ones that are hardly get anything to do or get killed off.
  Awful villain. And why was the first half of this film people just farming?

  Look... there were some nice moments and cool action and visuals and the actors really tried, but with a script this bad and without originality it's just hard to take seriously.
