im so confused on whether this was intentionally written to be this way, whether james spader and john cusack decieded to play this like lovers, whether it was all just an incredibly strange coincident or some even strager combination. I hesitate to say that this is rife with homoeroticism because that would be an understatement. This is a homosexual film like what. huh.

a very stylish flick with some great (albeit sort of kitsch) performances (this does NOT extend to rosamund pike and Richard e grant my goats), a solid soundtrack and some good old phallic symbolism and psychosexual motifs to boot.
