Watching the arctic void was a good experience. At first, everything seems hauntingly well as the theme of the film starts silently leaking like blood, commencing silently as you start to ponder what is going on.

The ending leaves you  speculating on what might happen.

For a film being shot in 16 days, with 16 members on a norwegian island is impressive in it self. Courageous move done by the director and the crew as shooting in cold harsh weather conditions is a hurdle in itself.

Films should embrace the eeriness of the cold.

I watched Silent Night in the theater last night. I must say, it is a refreshing film that embraced a risk the director confidently took.

The film lacks dialogue, yet people didn't complain. They were captivated by the voiceless story, which helped the audience sail through. I love the film; it's a bold move.

I felt the film followed the hero's journey, and I appreciated the classic, nostalgic thirst for revenge the protagonist embraced.

    I rate the film 3.5 due…

    What a spectacular movie.

The film is perfect when it comes to mystery. It keeps us “spectators” in the dark and leaves us wondering about the truth.

Kids are the ones who are the “victims” of an exploding toxic relationship, and this movie gave them a bit of justice. I loved the kid’s wonderful acting in this film. The acting is great from the protagonist, judges, and the lawyers as well. Not to mention the lovely dog Messi ❤️

I loved that the film had some documentary elements that was cleverly set in the film.

    Oscar winning film.

An incredible cinematic film that is ahead of its time. The film doesn't belong to the time of its release. People who claim that the film is Michael Powell's downfall show how they don't deserve a film like this. The film, instead, relies on spectators who await the unique experience it offers for the first time.

Love the work of the editor and would love to watch more of her works.
