  i think the real care and love john merrick was able to experience in the hospital, the true connections he was able to make with other people even after such a horrible life was very heartwarming, how all there truly cared for him, saw him for who he was and not as a spectacle…i thought it handled the subject manner very well and so many of the lines are just heartbreaking

  i hated this show. that is an understatement but watching this show was like stabbing my eyes out with several needles. look. i love animation. i really really enjoyed the art style! the music and art are fantastic but the most glaring issue was the plot. which is incredibly unfortunate- the characters had potential!!! but it was wasted and overall unenjoyable.
