The Lighthouse 2019
Easily one of my favourite movies ever.
Beyond insanity in terms of cinematography, very very good acting, very well written and all put together with love my the director for a masterpiece. Music is also on point!
If you are open to lobsters, fights about mermaids and maybe even two or three lighthouses I can not recommend this movie more. A very smart movie without a single second of feeling pretentious.Translated from by -
The Room Next Door 2024
The writing was just straight up bad or above my head. Dialogue was cheap, funniest ways of showing exposure (do you remember?) . The movie got so boring I started meditating on my top 4 films of all time. Felt like somebody is trying very hard to make something intellectual and failed.
