  wanted to watch again before it leaves netflix and i fear i have opened the waterworks forever. i have never seen a movie capture depression so perfectly, so intimately. he’s gone, but he left her so much to remember. i need to sleep for a month now.

  the film was gorgeous. luca guadagnino is just soooo good at capturing queer longing and it made me tear up a couple times as i watched. and again, i love close ups of tangled bodies and wanderings hands so AAAAAA. need more of that in every film ever. 

  elio and oliver’s relationship made me emotional and uncomfortable simultaneously (which i do think was the point), but i wish i had seen this before finding out armie hammer is a creep……
