Filled the succession-shaped hole in my heart of people yelling and swearing in conference rooms.
Really fun and a pretty big accomplishment for a low budget movie, looked really good (except for the hair) and never felt super distracted by the visuals. Glenn Howerton was so good I almost forgot he’s Dennis.
Likely the first of many biopics about stuff that I actually remember. Definitely adds a layer when you can look at the screen and think “oh I remember that” Recommend watch with your dad, he will definitely remember that.
An absolutely captivating, gripping, incredible feat. So much already said about the visuals, score, and resonance of the story. Here are my takes:
Nobody except Cillian Murphy could have played this part to the same effect. All depth no breadth of looking existentially distressed for 3 hours and pulling it off.
