  The further I get away the more my opinion erodes. Like everyone else, my opinion is: the first half is brilliant, the second half is so perplexingly disastrous and stupid it calls the first half entirely into question.

  I liked the soundtrack, except for the profoundly obtuse closing song. The photography is brilliantly wonderful, worth the money to see it on 70mm.

  I'm calling the "is it or is it not Zionist" in favor of the former.

  The John Wick series has some unique qualities that have been enumerated before me and will be elaborated after me, but the third installment deserves a commendation for keeping the quality mostly even and the absurdity of the setting pretty level. It's a fantastical world run by assassins so exotic locales and exaggerated characters shouldn't be unexpected and add a ton of character to the world in which it takes place.
