The Electric State 2025
the absolute epitome of the Netflix adaptation:
- blandest leads possible with little to no chemistry
- dull and lifeless visuals (watering down the absolutely beautiful illustrations of the original novel)
- a ton of talented actors who are given absolutely nothing to work with and thus deliver pretty bad performances
- a bunch of random and pointless needle drops, as well as a ton of other shoved-in nostalgia bait, for no real reason other than "remember the 80s/90s!!"

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
you can tell this went through eight billion reshoots. Despite having a relatively simple plot, it trips over itself multiple times in trying to justify its own existence, when in reality all it really does is introduce red hulk (who was fun, I'll admit) and tie up loose ends from Eternals and the 2008 Hulk movie (for whatever reason).

feels like it's trying to do wayyyy too much in a normal episode length.
