“We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars. Now we just look down, and worry about our place in the dirt.”

“They say that the best blaze burns brightest when circumstances are at their worst.”

Second best Studio Ghibli movie and one of the greatest romance/fantasy movies of all time. I love the chemistry between Howl and Sophie and Calcifier brought a great charm to the film. Every frame from start to finish had me blown away and each character felt very unique in design and personality. Miyazaki never dissapoints.

    “Daddy?Yes, honey. Can't you see we're burning?
    No, honey. You're not burning.”

the beginning of the movie felt very slow but once Lee moved to Manchester I was fully engaged. This is one of the few movies where you can really feel every characters pain and struggles just by seeing their expressions. Outstanding performances from every actor in this film.

“You do what you love, and fuck the rest.”

i was never really a huge fan of family movies because I always thought they were corny but this movie really blew me away. every character had so much depth and personality, Never a dry moment in this film. Story was a little bit iffy at first but quickly had me fully engaged. This movie has taught me the most out of any movie I have watched and really has inspired me in more ways than I can imagine. This is truly one of the greatest movies of all time wether people like it or not.
