Great new Sci Fi concept in my opinion. Went into this movie knowing nothing about it and was pleasantly surprised. Robert Pattinson and Steven Yeun were great, set design and atmospheric elements were also pretty good.

I much prefer the start of the movie rather than the finish, as I do have to admit that it didn’t end the way I thought it was and it was kind of meh. There were some political elements and plot lines that I…

classic romance movie but pretty good overall. can definitely tell it was made in that late 80s era but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

This film sparked my love for the thriller, action-adventure, and science fiction genres. My earliest memory of watching movies is this film and so it holds a special place in my heart. Overall, this movie has moments of suspense and creepiness, but from my understanding it falls short in the storytelling of Bram Stokers original Dracula. My peers felt similar to this, commenting on how it felt like a “play movie” at points. I also felt the length of this movie as I sat in the theatre. Despite the movie falling a bit short on expectations, which, admittedly were quite high, Skarsgards acting and portrayal as Nosferatu was phenomenal. Additionally, the set, atmosphere, and costume design were very fitting and definitely high quality. The rolling shots and fluidity of the scenes also stood out to me.
