Truly a cinematic masterpiece, first the cinematography is stunning i was honestly so confused at first and did not understand a thing then it just kept getting better and better especially the wide shot scene with the poet in the red tent, it was tuly an experience. Now moving on to the story it was all really engaging not once did i shift my eyes off the screen and not only that but it also goes into the complexities of society norms and identity especially in the arab world and more specifically in saudi arabia.

Sitting in Bars with Cake 2023
went into this blind (cuz i saw odessa in it)..thought this was going to be a cute movie about friendship and it IS but it left me crying for like 30 minutes after. there are a few mishaps in the movie i didn't quite understand and some jokes that didn't land, but overall this movie accurately shows girlhood.
