  I have experienced tragedies like this (my parents divorced when I was 2) and it really messed me up. It's the reason I have such a twisted, dark sense of humor. So it was particularly hard for me to watch the characters in this movie go through similar hardships. I wish I could embrace each one and tell them it gets better. Such is the power of this meaningful film.
