wannabe normal people. rom without com. would definitely have enjoyed less if i wasn’t an immigrant. did like the colour grading. 

the first hour and a bit felt very long and uninteresting. nothing REALLY piqued my interest until the bar scene. honestly wasn’t into the whole idea of ooh past lives concept — also not a fan of a film saying its own name in dialogue. i feel like the biggest problem was that it was very mundane and about people’s ordinary lives and feelings, but it didn’t make you care about the characters or connect to them in any way.

very weird but oddly captivating and poignant. kind of hated it, kind of fascinated by it — this is a really fun concept! one of those films where i didn’t personally love it but i like what they were trying to do. also some of the script was actually really funny.
