  I watched this on a first date and I would have rather sat on an uncomfortable bench outside the theatre in the cold, getting to know my date, than see this film. I had never seen a Nic Cage movie before, and this film didn’t not win me over. I won’t watch another Nic Cage film. His great performance of an utterly unlikeable, boring character left me suspicious. I only laughed at the moments where he was being humiliated and dehumanized.
