  It was great but watching it after the Oscars still makes me think The Substance should’ve gotten more credit but I totally agree with Mikey getting best actress bc honestly I am OBSESSED with how she portrayed Ani, literally the sassiness, voice, overall expressions, UGH just everything worked so well!!! I have so much respect for this film and Sean Baker

  Sometimes you need films that ground you and keep you in reality. This was honestly the most boring film I've ever watched but god it was so good.
