The Ninth Gate 1999
Not a movie I would consider outstanding or anything but it made me realize how much I enjoy noir movies. The athomosphere is dark, foggy and simply amazing. The ninth gate either doesn't take itself too seriously or failed at beeing actually scary/heavy but that's not even the thing that bothered me. The ending sadly ruined everything. It's like a worse version of Angel Heart with some Eyes Wide Shut elements. Enjoy the journey of the movie but don't expect too much from the ending.

One of the best movies I have ever seen and honestly might be my all time favorite. When I recognized Aphex Twin I was completely blown away. This film feels like a visual representation of what is going on in my head all the time I just never could imagine that something so niche and similar to how I feel and view my favorite thing ever, the techno scene, could exist.β¦
