I have been intrigued by this title for a while, I love when movies are used as a means to experiment with interesting ideas.
I see some wasted potential, I feel likes It could have been way more interesting.
The pace of the movie felt too slow for me and if not for the last 10 minutes I would have given it a lower grading.

The Holdovers 2023
Unexpectedly Hood. I look at the cover, it seems like yet another Christmas movie with a predictable plot, but since it was recommended to me I decided to look beyond the appearance and found myself in a very nice surprise.
The characters' emotions are portrayed perfectly, the film manages to handle emotionally heavy moments cery well following a rhythm that does not tire and manages to make you fond of the characters before you realize it. It was the perfect film to spend the evening with.

The beginning was really nice, I loved the extra bright colours, it was giving Barbie movie, also the introductive shot to Zendaya's character was really fun.
The vivid colours keep being present through the movie but not as much as the beginning.
Zendaya was really hot in this movie.

In it's shortness extremely well done and interesting.
