So if you had in mind that this film is just another vanilla indie film, think again. The ending, oh man, hits you right in the feels. Great character development, elegant writing and the acting is so spot on. Last but not least, Stephen Merritt wrote a masterful soundtrack that captures and elevates the core of the film.
Overall it`s easy to see the thin line that connects the traditional independent cinema, from Cassavetes to Pieces of April.
