  disclaimer: i was having a downright horrifying panic attack throughout my entire time viewing this. will perhaps return to this at another time. the scenes wherein the characters do play music are downright magical. overall this is very striking in how contemplative it is; ansar dine pose a deep existential threat to the townspeople, but we are constantly seeing them in petty squabbles over beliefs, uncertain of how to proceed, coaching their hostages on how to act for their videos.…
