I support women's rights and women's wrongs especially if that woman is Tashi Duncan. Luca Guadagnino continues to be one of the horniest directors making movies right now. But horny in a fun, complex, interesting way and not a weird, disgusting way. The film was over 2 hours but didn't feel that long since the pacing was fast and honestly it made tennis look and feel very exciting. The production design, costuming, and score were fantastic. Zendaya, Tom Holland 1 and 2 all slayed!

Civil War 2024
Did not love this. For me it was more style over substance and I left the theater thinking "what's the point". Although this nihilism is core part of the film. Trends over themes that I find very obvious such as "war is bad". Don't need to watch a movie to tell me that. I did enjoy the theme of the importance of press in order to properly document history especially when everyone is concerned with "fake news".

I never read the book but this adaptation is so delightful and heartwarming. I've said it a million times but I LOVE a coming of age story and this film depicted adolescence so well. Reminded me a bit of the film Eighth Grade but set in the 70s. Anything Rachel McAdams is in is always fire and the other performances are great. A ton of laughs as well!
