  Quit busting my balls!

  (Martin Scorsese is living up to the hype! I think I prefer After Hours but it’s fun seeing a lot of the stylistic elements, thinking about the camera moves and editing, that were in that movie in here, on a much larger scale)

  Seeing this in theaters was a nice lil treat too

  First watched this in May, but the rewatch made me shed a tear at the very end. 
  This was the 2nd PTA movie I watched, and it started me on watching the rest of his filmography. In addition to that, life has hit in the last few months harder than before, so returning to Licorice Pizza feels like visiting an old friend. I don’t know how much of that is the nostalgia in the film for the early 70s combined…

  This is my favorite Alien movie so far. In between Aliens and this, I played Alien Isolation as well, and that was so damn good. 
  I’m considering just not watching the rest of them, in fear that they don’t live up to this… the finality of Ripley’s story seems like such a perfect ending… Raah!
