There's nothing about this film to make it stand out as a particularly great movie, but it has undeniable charm and sweetness. Holmes plays the titular role with a heartbreaking earnestness that mostly makes up for the occasional plot lulls. I've also never seen such a relatable portrayal of being the "burnt pancake" desperately trying to extend an olive branch to a cabal of insufferable normies. (Though if I were her I'd have had a low-key day with my dreamy boyfriend and left it at that.)

Extremely fun, both visually and in the performances of the returning cast and Ortega. My main note is that Monica Bellucci's presence was wholly unnecessary to the story, felt like a weird add-on that did not incorporate into the rest of the film. The minutes her character spent on screen would have been better spent either further fleshing out Astrid a bit, or exploring more of Lydia's inner conflicts. Otherwise, the film is really entertaining and occasionally laugh out loud funny.
