    This was filled with a lot more psychosexual imagery than I was expecting. 

    No doubt it’s a very impressive piece of indie filmmaking (look at that cast and crew!), and the effects here are superb. But god this is kind of impenetrable on first watch I think?

    Second Hong Kong Category 3 film this week. Unfortunately not nearly as whacky as The Seventh Curse was, but still fairly enjoyable. 

    Basic premise is it’s Robocop set in Hong Kong but Robocop is a woman this time, and she does kung fu, and she has to hunt down an evil robot who has kidnapped the son of an oil tycoon.
