A messy but incredibly endearing black comedy that’s easy to be charmed by, despite a final act that doesn’t quite stick the landing. Satirical, original, almost Wes Anderson brand quirky, confident even when struggling to juggle all of its elements. It’s visually sleek and boasts gorgeously gritty set pieces, there is so much said in its presentation of retro-futurism (although scaldingly unsubtle about its relevance to today) alone. An unsurprisingly technically perfect picture that has a cast just as perfect…
