  Elvira being the ultimate sex symbol in horror still remains remarkable and iconic. When Cassandra Peterson came out as queer, she made a whole lot of “men” mad who then tried to cancel her. She is a badass woman just like Elvira and will forever remain so. 
  Otherwise, this will always be a fun watch.

  First of all, cinematically striking piece of work. Many praises to Eggers for making classic horror stories scary, disturbing and haunting again in cinematic form. American gothic horror films are so back.

  Despite hearing the many mixed reviews of this film, I was greatly entertained by the many elements this piece had to offer.
