  Saw this at a screening which was followed by a Q&A with the screenwriter (same screenwriter as Challengers). He was very eloquent and thoughtful and hearing him talk about the movie made me like it more. Fun fact - the screenwriter is married to Selene Song, who wrote Past Lives. 

  Interestingly, Justin said he meant it to be a story of “unsynchronized” love. I felt strongly that it was a story of unrequited love. Allerton was either underdeveloped, or purposefully…

  Operates on the same level as the Barbie movie in that it has a good message but errs on the side of heavy-handedness. I still want to like it and my dad thought it was hilarious so 🤷🏻‍♀️
