  This film came up as: “If you liked Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, then you’ll like this” - Meh - Not so much. It’s a tired thin plot with a couple of small chuckles. In general, kind of sick of the overall narrative.

  I think my primary issue with this movie is I didn’t believe them being a family. There was absolutely no chemistry between the two leads. There is no way you could convince me that these two were together let alone at one point interested in each other enough to make it work. The dynamic between the father and the daughter were fine but that’s really it. Also, it was so predictable that I called it within the first two seconds.

  Once you got beyond the set-up it was actually pretty ridiculous and enjoyable. Favorite actor, Robert Englund lol - one of his weirder ones.

  Killer cast for a completely sub-par movie. I don’t love M. Rourke in the lead role of “Black Bird”. R. Dawson as Donna is given nothing to do. I love J. Gordon Levitt but jeez - give some lines to other folks.
