This film is so weird. It's not even as kind about her as you'd expect, it's bizarrely intimate, and I think that's largely because it's basically propaganda that's designed more to sane wash and normalise as opposed to making up facts, everything in here about Thatcher and how truly selfish and bitter she was is true, and it seems like we get more emphasis on how shit Labour are as opposed to any of the political issues vaguely gestured at…

Jackie Brown 1997
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
At the end, when Jackie Brown is on the phone to Ordell, there's an ashtray on Max Cherry's desk. At the beginning of the film, Max tells Ordell that the only thing he can ash his cigarette into is a cup. The only conclusion to draw from this is that he bought an ashtray at some point during the film just in case Jackie came into his office and smoked. We love an attentive king.

The Young Girls of Rochefort 1967
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I literally yelled at the screen when Delphine walked out of the room and Maxence walked back in for his bag and walked out before she walked back in. and I was so excited that he left his bag like he did earlier in the film just as the film was re-introducing all of the love interests.
