One of the only movies where my confusion at what was going on was completely overshadowed by how much I was enjoying myself.

Alien: Romulus 2024
I have the unique opportunity to have this be the first Alien movie that I've ever seen. Experiencing it from this perspective leaves me in awe of how incredible of an introduction to the series this is liable to be for a lot of people.
Legitimately unsettling for the majority of the runtime. Uncomfortably tense sound design, and beautiful shot composition (especially in regards to color) that had me sucked into the events of the film in a way that I haven't been in a while. Great movie.
Now I need to go watch all the others.
