Heat 1995
I was pretty excited to rewatch Heat, but it was a huge disappointment. The 12 minute shootout is available on YouTube. You should probably just watch that instead.
That said, the best part of the movie is when De Niro’s character (with full New York accent) mentions that he is from the Bay Area. “Ehh! My mom made the best gabagool in Berkeley!”

It's been a while since I last saw this movie. I don't think I remembered how bonkers this thing is. The NYT review from 2003 sums it up.
"Most of the picture’s half-dozen or so romantic subplots — which lie scattered about like torn wrapping paper on Christmas morning — involve workplace dalliances of one kind or another. The ones with the best chances of success all involve an older male boss and a young female subordinate.

Phish: Bittersweet Motel 2000
This documentary covers one of the most inspired periods of Phish, including the hallowed Fall '97 tour. It's a snapshot of the band riding a creative wave just before everything came crashing down in the drug-laden tours of the early aughts.
There are some fantastic behind-the-curtain moments, including the band reading bad reviews. The concert footage is great, but I'm not sure this film will do much to convert non-fans. Still, if you're into the rockumentary genre, I think it's worth checking out - as long as you don't mind having your ears urinated in.
