  Going to the club and drawing a chalk circle to keep out the women that scare me (all of them).

  One great set and a collection of silly spooky dudes highlight this campy folktale. Very fun.

  I didn't really pay much attention but they didn't really get Karen Allen for much of the movie so who is cheating who, Mr. Tubi?

  Admittedly cool every time the big space van crashes into something.

  They also cut my kiss with Daisy Edgar-Jones from the film. Spielberg said it was too good, that it overshadowed Glen. An NY 10 is an EF-5.

  Last summer we had Barbie and Oppenheimer. This year we had Longlegs and Twisters. Glen Powell is a star but I don't think he's surrounded with anything great here. Movie in a can, nothing too inspired. Tastes like astroturf. Ghost Riders in the Sky with fireworks was good. The state of modern country…

  Woe is us. Woe is us because David Lynch died today. An American original, and hell maybe the last original American. Everything of his feels like something we weren't meant to see, like someone snuck it off Olympus in a bag of bones and gave it to us.

  Modern Times for modern times, Eraserhead remains a jewel in the crown of the absurd. It has a deeply unsettling aura. The Eraserhead baby has to be one of the great props, as you can project so much on to him and feel so many ways about him. We can't make Eraserhead anymore, just erasers.
