Enjoyed this more than I expected, Fiennes gives a fantastic performance central to the film’s building tension.
Some fantastic cinematography, paired with the extravagance of the Church/Conclave - I was sat.
Watched season 2 finally, actually wasn’t as ‘disappointing’ as people led me to expect.
I think there were some great storylines and different choices made within this season, however I do wish there were fewer loose ends (Cliff hanger for the next season, I get it, but needed a little more payoff).
This movie holds a special place in my heart.

As a fan of the musical Wicked, I was extremely happy with the end result of this movie.
Jon M Chu did a great job at paying homage to the material without altering it beyond recognition. He had simply told the story using a new visual medium without changing too much. The visuals were beautiful and didn’t feel too injected with CGI despite the fantastical environment.
