A fun work of art!! We love Tampopo, our central protagonist. The story deviates constantly with silly non sequester vignettes—vignettes that lust over food, slurping in every last drop, rejecting etiquette. We never lose interest in Tampopo’s mission to create her perfect ramen recipe. I’d argue that the adoration for food ties these stories together in a one neat 🎀
