Unstoppable 2010
Tony Scott’s last film (he died soon after) was a fitting way to go out. A nail biting/thriller (based on a true story) which showcased his partnership with Denzel - 5 movies together. There’s nothing deep about the storyline...but Scott does a good job of developing the relationship between Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. - all as they try to stop a runaway train at speeds of around 70 mph...4 Stars partly because if my “man crush” on Denzel!

(Spoilers). I wanted to love this movie, but it broke down in the last 30 minutes. Fantastic character development throughout...until we begin to get introduced to the kidnapper. We are never shown much about what makes him tick...or his motive - other than jealousy. The last scene failed to tie things together got me. Ultimately, I was disappointed by this film which had so much potential.
