Scooby-Doo 2002
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A couple thoughts; for one, this was an absolute ALL STAR level cast and it was a privilege to be able to watch that core five act together. Second, Mathew Lillard needs to be in more shit…. He’s so fucking good. Three, I have the deepest childhood crush on Daphne and Velma, and I gotta say, it only got more so after this viewing. Four, i absolutely fucking hate Scrappy Doo and I wish they would have made literally anyone else the villain… even Lebron would have been better. Fifth and finally, that was a sick Fred Durst cameo

No clue what possessed me to watch this mind-bending thriller on a lovely summer night but I did it🤷🏼♂️ this is one of those 5-star movies where I don’t think I’ll be able to say anything that hasn’t already been said but, the villain was great, the writing was wholly original and kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time, and the twist ending was nothing short of fucking iconic. A perfect movie in every sense.

Dune: Part Two 2024
Every bit as good as they say. Truly felt like watching the next big leap in cinema. Was fully engrossed in the world and it’s ongoing for the entire 3-hour runtime. Nothing was underdone or half-assed, everything was perfect. The only reason it doesn’t get a five stars is because I truly feel that a recast of certain characters would have made this movie a tad bit better. But truly nothing short of spectacular. I’m not going to be able…

Road House 2024
Road House 2024 joins the list of 80s remakes that in no way live up to its predecessor (to no one’s surprise). To be honest though, I don’t think anyone clicked on this movie for a cinematic masterpiece, we knew what we were getting into and we did it anyways. Therefore, I will not be going too hard on this one. Conor McGregor was fucking hilarious and Jake Gyllenhaal was in this movie for some reason. Fight scenes (when choreographed)…
