Considering that it’s almost three hours long you could probably argue that it’s enough of an epic to justify such a blatant reference to Lawrence Of Arabia, but the extended riff on The Warriors in the final stretch is much more appropriate for this incredibly silly universe where it seems like at least half of the worldwide population consists of professional hit men.
