the most manic thing i’ve ever done in my entire life is waking up this morning at 7am and deciding to watch terms of endearment for the first time. 10/10 ultimate sob movie. Debra Winger and Shirley MacLaine are everything. Mothers and daughters man, mothers and daughters………….phew.

I rewatched this movie for the first time as an “adult” earlier this week and was so blown away by the beauty of it, the tender love, complex emotions and tranquility of the animation I ended up watching it 5 times. God bless studio ghibli. This movie deserves a better review but I just can’t even get into it rn so I’ll add more later.
