Okay whatever plot the first one had. This one didn’t; combine that with even less fleshed out characters and a now tired use of shock factor and you have yourself The hills have eyes one but just slightly less scary, slightly more ridiculous and a whole lot less enjoyable.

The Hills Have Eyes 2006
The film is a shock factor fest with a less then amazing plot, yet I still found it an enjoyable, I’ll be it tough at times, watch. I will have to watch the originals at some point but from what I’ve heard they don’t hold up in comparison to the remakes.

Dune: Part Two 2024
People keep saying film of the year and it’s warranted. Visuals are amazing, plot is near flawless. Films being as long as it was is usually a downside but there was never a dull moment; if anything it could have been longer I wouldn’t have complained.
